The Brooms :: Hanna + Lee

September 14, 2016  |  Southern Fete News

Let me tell you about one of the sweetest couples you’ll meet and their special day. I remember the day I got Hanna’s inquiry and called her and the first day I met with her and her mom. It was the beginning of getting to know a super sweet couple and family.

Hanna knew what she wanted from the very beginning. Traditional. Elegant. Memorable. Fun. We worked together on her florals and vision for linens and decor. She told me about a few special surprises she had in store for Lee and her mom. And little did she know, I was also working behind the scenes with Lee and her sister to surprise her with a LIVE PAINTING – my favorite.

In the midst of the planning, I found out about little Neil and that he would likely make his appearance the week before the wedding. Appeasing his planner mother, he arrived two days before. Hanna and her mom were incredibly sweet to welcome Meghan onboard and trust that the Southern Fete team would undoubtedly make it all happen.

I remember her wedding was the first night we were home from the hospital, and I kept my phone on silent but so close by so I could see when the girls sent me updates. The ballroom couldn’t have been any more beautiful, Hanna and Lee any more excited to marry each other, and the guests have any more fun.

The photos that Brandon O’Neal Photography captured are remarkable. I’ll let them do the rest of the talking …
Love this shot! Looking sharp guys!
Hanna and Lee – There wasn’t a time I don’t think I saw you have a smile on your faces or a time when you weren’t sweet as pie. I wish I could have physically been there on your wedding day, but I know you were in the best hands. Thank you so very much for choosing Southern Fete and for trusting we could make it happen even when you knew I wouldn’t be able to be there. The love that you extended as we became of a family of three was so very appreciated. I couldn’t be more proud to have you as part of the Southern Fete family and can’t wait to see what life has in store for you both!
