I am way late on posting this baby shower for one of my best friends, Jenny. I’m actually headed to see sweet Judah this weekend, who will be a month old on Monday.
First off, we were lucky enough to have a professional photographer as one of the hostesses! If you are looking for newborn, maternity or children’s photos, check out Amanda Causey! She does great work!
Jenny’s inspiration for the nursery was actually our inspiration for the shower so we knew we wanted to stick with black white and shades of blue. I had seen this amazing invitation for a shower and used that as our inspiration for the rest of the design.
We decided to get Jenny’s husband Joel to help us with the “news story.” Joel was so excited and did an amazing job and it made the invite that much more meaningful to Jenny!
The story of how Judah was named is so sweet. While she was pregnant, Jenny was reading in the book of the Bible, Joel (her husband’s name) and came across the phrase the glorious future of Judah. So we wanted to incorporate that and created cards that guests could write down their prayers for Judah Gilbert’s bright future ahead. Everyone was so creative and thoughtful with their answers!
The girls who were in charge of the food did an AMAZING job! The food was delicious AND cute! (You know I love that). Kendra, knew how much Jenny loved pancakes so she made cupcakes inspired by them. She had chocolate, banana and blueberry flavors.
Here are a few more photos I took of the paper products.
Can’t wait to smother Judah Lee with kisses! Happy Friday Everyone!!
Happy Monday Everyone!! Today I wanted to share with you Brandi and Stefan’s engagement shoot by the oh so talented Mark Eric (and his wife Heather!!). Brandi has become a very close friend over the last few years. It’s been so fun to watch her and Stefan go from friends to soon-to-be husband and wife. Brandi and Stefan, I am so honored to get to not only be a part of y’alls wedding day, but to also help coordinate and make sure it’s everything y’all dreamed it would be. Enjoy!!
Hi Everyone! I’ve said it before, I love getting to design multiple pieces to complement a couple’s invitations. For Kelli and Simon’s wedding I designed invitations, rsvps, info cards, programs, table numbers, escort cards and menus from the Marie Suite.
I don’t always get to see how the stationery fits into the wedding day, but Kelli was kind enough to share with me photos from the big day! It was actually shot by Tran Studio, who I have been a fan of for a long time! If you are getting married in New Orleans, check them out! And enjoy!!
See more photos from the day here.
And a few close ups I took before the wedding day!
This Friday, I’ll be coordinating Laura and Jason’s day of. I am so excited for their wedding. They are such a sweet couple and their story is so unique and inspiring. I’m thrilled to be a part of joining them in marriage! Dawn Earles took their gorgeous engagement photos. Looking forward to working with you on the wedding day too, Dawn! Enjoy!!
This month as flown by!! It was busier than expected. And beautiful. Enjoy a few highlights.
Hello everyone! Today I’ve got an inspiration board inspired by one of my weddings a few weeks ago. When I saw the bridesmaids’ full look complete, I fell in love!! The bride chose peach J Crew dresses for the bridesmaids. Pool blue tear drop earrings and yellow daffodils. It screamed Spring! In honor of unusually and pleasantly cool spring temperatures here in South Louisiana, I hope you enjoy!!
