**** We have a new perspective today!! What would a wedding photographer do? Where do they find inspiration? I told photographers who submitted to choose one of their own images as the inspiration for the entire palette.  Mrs. Ashleigh Jayne shares hers! ****

Ashleigh Cormier is the owner of Ashleigh Jayne Photography based out of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She specializes in authentically telling wedding stories from a unique artistic perspective. By limiting the number of posed and staged shots, couples are captured comfortably and naturally in relaxed settings just “being themselves.” Her fresh and happy images give emotion the opportunity to surface. Ashleigh’s passion is capturing her subject’s essence in the moment, and providing them memories that will last a lifetime.

I am convinced that effective photography depends on three main ingredients: Color, light and style. And that’s what catches my eye. Anything with a classy modern feel inspires me. A large focus on vibrant color really brings an image to life. I believe weddings should reflect your individual personality. My wedding style was not very traditional, but it represented who I am. It’s all about putting a personal touch to the look. Every woman has a glamorous side to them, and I feel there’s no need to hold it back on your special day. Sleek can be sexy.

For a bride, the word “details” usually equals stress in a very dramatic season in her life. Just relax, breathe and discover your inner style, and find someone to partner with you in your journey. Choose a look that is based entirely on the colors and decor of your wedding. Be bold. Be vibrant. Think outside of the box! There are no rules to follow except your own. You wedding day is a once in a lifetime experience, so don’t hold back. Tell the story of your day by looking at the details in a simple, elegant light. A pair of colorful shoes. An outdoor alter lit by the afternoon sun. A sweet smile of a flower girl. The way his hand brushes yours during a prayer. A tear in the father of the bride’s eye. So keep in mind – these are the details that will last for a life time.
