I love color and how each one makes me feel. What color I have on usually reflects my mood.  It really excites me when a bride wants to use color. When it comes to my wedding, I first think of a classic, posh, feminine look and then I see black and white. I have a confession to make, I’m married and oddly enough when I was asked to do this, I didn’t even think of my own wedding. I just thought it would be fun to do and set off in a completely different direction. Although the design elements were different, my wedding was black and white, is that Freudian!!

I absolutely adore anemones, but think the black and white ones make such a statement.  Having the black lamps along with the bountiful anemones on each table adds more interest to the table and the overall space. I love the fleur-de-lis designs carried though out the invitations and linens. I love the linens on the cake and adding the anemones. Having an overall cohesive look from the beginning to end of the design is important in a well planned. I call this wedding New Orleans Posh!!
