Kate & Stew: 04.02.11

August 3, 2011  |  Southern Fete News

I’m so excited to share with y’all Kate and Stew’s wedding!

Kate was an ideal client. Looking for something unique, open to ideas and even crafty herself! Although I put together a vision for her based on her inspiration, Kate got crafty and DIYed a lot of the details! The wedding took place at her mom’s home: ceremony in the front, party in the back. ; )

Elizabeth Ray, from New Orleans did a fantastic job capturing every single detail and moment of the wedding! Brides, her enthusiasm for your wedding WILL make it amazing. I mentioned it in this post, but when a vendor is excited for your wedding, it gives a sense of peace. It means they want things to go as well as you do and that they feel it’s as important just as much as the couple!

I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves. ; )

White-washed clay pots and moss and vintage books were the centerpieces!

The weather was perfect! We set up a clear tent with cafe lights strung. It was so dreamy!

And then…fireworks!! To everyone’s surprise (including me!) the neighbors wanted to add a fun element to the wedding!

Lavender for the favors…
