Have you heard nightmare stories about picking out wedding invitations? Books and books of options that are usually not even in your price range.
I experienced it. But never had I considered having custom made invitations or using a local stationer.
Val, with Val Marie Paper, just launched eight new suites to live alongside another eight of her most popular from last year’s collection. You must look at them. Here’s my personal favorite.
While they’re pretty much perfect, you are able to customized the colors, fonts, and text to make it truly yours.
So, head on over to Val Marie Paper to see some local awesomeness and support a local vendor while you’re at it!
I’m away in San Francisco this week but was so excited to see that The Keeping Room is now carrying a line of letterpress invitations by Page Stationary. I just LOVE the one below with the gold liner – and it doesn’t hurt that the bride and I share the same first name! I can’t wait to visit The Keeping Room to see more of this line.

I’ve been wanting to do a series of prints for a while now but could never figure out what I wanted to say. Everything I thought of was so trite. A few days ago, I was thinking about what truth I wanted to surround myself with throughout the day. From that, so many ideas started flowing. The designs is clean and simple, more so than I usually go but I wanted the words to stand out!
My absolute favorite print is The Definition of a Lady print. If you know me, you know I’m not always so lady like. Sometimes I talk with my mouth full or sit indian style in a chair instead of like Kate Middleton. But that’s not the only things that make you lady like. I wrote my definition or code for the lady I wanted to be. These are traits I want to pursue. I hope they will inspire you too!!
These are limited edition prints (20 each) and will be available till the end of summer! Order here.
Without further ado! The Val Marie Paper Summer Series!!
Hi Everyone! I’ve said it before, I love getting to design multiple pieces to complement a couple’s invitations. For Kelli and Simon’s wedding I designed invitations, rsvps, info cards, programs, table numbers, escort cards and menus from the Marie Suite.
I don’t always get to see how the stationery fits into the wedding day, but Kelli was kind enough to share with me photos from the big day! It was actually shot by Tran Studio, who I have been a fan of for a long time! If you are getting married in New Orleans, check them out! And enjoy!!
See more photos from the day here.
And a few close ups I took before the wedding day!
Yesterday a group of friends and family threw a shower for our friend Brandi who is getting married in May. I was thrilled to design some stationery for it and help with flowers. The color palette was Navy & Yellow. “B is for…” was the theme my sister had picked. Here are a few photos of the invitation as well as some instagramed photos from yesterday! I’m so excited for y’all Brandi and cannot wait for the wedding day!! : )
Today I’m sharing the paper products from Sadie and Trayton’s weekend that took place on Saturday! It was a beautiful night! I am so thrilled for the two of them and of course jealous that they are currently in Hawaii! ; )
Sadie’s theme was based on The Notebook and hearts and she really wanted to incorporate one of her favorite quotes from the movie. We started with the Sadie Suite (yes, it was named after her!) and modified to fit the theme perfectly!
